In the book the Icebound Land Halt threatens that he is royalty to a warlord, now you learn of the difficulties of his past. Its a race against time to save a kingdom from being taken, from its own people! My favorite part is when Halt throws back his hood and says hello brother, i could almost see how Halt's brother pales and stutters, in disbelief.
